Dragon Eye: A Rare Natural Wonder, Awakened on the Wrist
Near the summit of Japan’s Mount Hachimantai, which spans Akita and Iwate prefectures, a spring spectacle appears when snowmelt and weather conditions align. Known as the Dragon Eye, it emerges on Kagami-numa Pond for only a short time each year. As the snow begins to melt, a circle of open water surrounds a pure white snowy center, creating the appearance of a giant, bright eye that reflects the clear blue sky above. This fleeting harmony of nature is captured in the PRO TREK PRW-61D digital-analog combination timepiece. The blue ion-plated bezel and full-screen phosphorescent blue dial express the deep, clear tones of the Dragon Eye, while subtle dial patterns echo the traces of melting snow around the pond.
Radio Control and Tough Solar: Reliable Timekeeping for the Mountains
Multiband 6 receives standard radio signals from six stations worldwide, including Japan, China, North America, the United Kingdom, and Germany, automatically adjusting time for accuracy. Tough Solar generates power even from weak indoor light, supporting stable operation of power-demanding functions.
Phosphorescent Dial and Triple Sensor: Clear Visibility and Trusted Sensing, Day or Night
The dial, with phosphorescent material applied across the entire surface, together with a neon illuminator, ensures clear readability in low-light outdoor settings. Triple Sensor accurately measures compass bearing, altitude, barometric pressure, and temperature.
Environmentally Responsible Design: Respect for Nature
The case and band use bio-based resin, a material expected to help reduce environmental impact. Designed for those who value nature and move through it with care.
- Case size (L× W× H): 51 × 47.4 × 14.7 mm
- Weight: 62 g
- Case and bezel material: Bio-based Resin / Stainless steel
- Band: Dura Soft band (CNF-reinforced rubber)
- Water resistance: 100-meter water resistance
- Environmental resistance: Low-temperature resistant (-10℃/14℉)
