Indexes finished in silver-colored vapor deposition enhance visibility and add a beautiful contrast with the dial. Crafted from stainless steel, the bezel undergoes meticulous processes of forging, cutting, and polishing to achieve an exquisite finish of depth and dimension. To achieve the same original G-SHOCK shock-resistant structure in a full-metal timepiece, buffering components made of fine resin are inserted between the stainless-steel bezel and case. And dimpling is applied to metal band pieces to reproduce the look of the very first G-SHOCK resin band design. The stainless-steel case of the GM-B2100BT features the same screw-lock construction as the original to ensure a tight seal. And the fact that the watch is crafted at Yamagata Casio, the “mother factory” where the first ever G-SHOCK was made, brings the whole design full circle.
